Description:	Cognitive development is a theory about the nature and development of human intelligence. This theory deals with the nature of knowledge and how we gradually come to acquire, construct, and use that knowledge. His developmental stage theory had four stages: sensorimotor stage, preoperational stage, concrete operational stage, and formal operational stage.
